What happens to the clippings?
Leave them on the lawn. Free, and it feeds the lawn. That is our recommendation. Collect and pile. Free as well. Puts them where you want them on your property. Collect and bag. Leaves the bags with you. Bag and take away. The load goes home with us: loaded, driven off and unloaded there. That column is the published price, not a quote.

One-Time Mowing
Find your lawn size, then the description that matches it right now. That is the price. What the words on these tables mean →

| 2–2½ acres | $225 | $240 | $255 |
| Over 2½ acres, steep, or awkward | The calculator prices it | ||
Which is my lawn?
Kept up. Cut in the last week or so, around 3½ inches. Moderately overgrown. Around 6 inches. About twice the clippings of a kept-up lawn. Heavily overgrown. Eight or nine inches, about three and a half times the clippings. It means the lawn has gotten ahead of you but is still safe to mow. If it is not, we say so before scheduling rather than after.

Spring Refresh: Lake Effect Cleanup includes
Salt and sand sweep · Leaf and debris removal · First mow of the season · Bed cleanup, weeding and cutback · Mulch · Bed edging · Shrub pruning · Plow-rut repair · Grey snow mold raking · Haul-away: the debris leaves with us. Mulch is a full refresh over the beds your bracket assumes; the calculator uses your measured beds. Grey snow mold raking covers up to an acre’s worth of lawn (43,560 sq ft): 5%, 10% or 20% of it by your tier. Beyond that it is priced separately.
Fall Cleanup: Lake Effect Prep includes
Final mow, cut low · Complete leaf removal, including beds · Cutback of dead growth · Downed branches and storm debris cleared · Snow stakes set · Burlap wrapping · Haul-away: the debris leaves with us
Light, moderate, or heavy?
Light. An open lawn with a few trees. Moderate. Most yards here. Heavy. A wooded lot after a hard fall. Spring is priced one band lighter than fall on the same lawn, because winter leftovers are less than a fall drop.

Mulch options
Refresh. Tops up what is there. Remove old mulch. Takes the old layer out first and hauls it off. That is what you want when a bed has built up over several seasons. Regrade. Levels the bed surface before anything goes down, for a bed that has slumped, washed out, or sits against the house wrong.
Who brings the mulch?
Ridge Trail brings the mulch. We buy it, bring it and spread it. The material is in the price you read. I’ll supply the mulch. You have it on site before we arrive and only the labor is charged. The price list publishes the cubic yards to order beside each bed size, and the calculator tells you the yardage for your own beds.

Kept up or overgrown?
Kept up. The bed was weeded in the last few weeks; what is there pulls out by hand. Overgrown. The weeds are established and rooted in: that is restoration rather than upkeep, and it takes about four times as long per square foot.

Storm debris
Branches already on the ground. We don’t take down trees. That is an arborist’s job, and we will say so rather than improvise with yours.
Hauling
In the prices above. Up to 2 barrows ride along with whatever else is on the truck at no haul charge; above that the load leaves as its own. What hauling costs →

Where does the pile end up?
Pile stays with you. Piled where you want it, or blown into the treeline. That is what most wooded lots here do, and it costs nothing. Hauled away. That column's price includes hauling. How many loads a lawn fills comes from its size and its leaf cover, not from a guess. What hauling costs →
