2027 Price List
Every rate, published.
About these prices
Every price on this page is before sales tax. Labor, the service trip and any materials are in it; the calculator adds sales tax as one line at your county rate, and nothing else is added later. The same table applies to everyone. The words on these tables (kept up, overgrown, light, heavy, hauled away) are defined once on the definitions page.

02
One-Time Mowing
No commitment. Before a party, after vacation, or when it has gotten away from you.
| Your mowable lawn | Kept up | Moderately overgrown | Heavily overgrown |
|---|---|---|---|
| Up to ¼ acre | $65 | $75 | $80 |
| ¼–½ acre | $85 | $95 | $105 |
| ½–¾ acre | $110 | $125 | $135 |
| ¾–1 acre | $140 | $155 | $170 |
| 1–1½ acres | $170 | $185 | $200 |
| 1½–2 acres | $195 | $210 | $225 |
| 2–2½ acres | $225 | $240 | $255 |
Which is my lawn?
Kept up. Cut in the last week or so, around 3½ inches. Moderately overgrown. Around 6 inches. About twice the clippings of a kept-up lawn. Heavily overgrown. Eight or nine inches, about three and a half times the clippings. It means the lawn has gotten ahead of you but is still safe to mow. If it is not, we say so before scheduling rather than after.

What the Spring Refresh bracket assumes
Mulch is a full refresh over the beds your bracket assumes; the calculator uses your measured beds. Grey snow mold raking covers up to an acre’s worth of lawn (43,560 sq ft): 5%, 10% or 20% of it by your tier. Beyond that it is priced separately.
Light, moderate, or heavy?
Light. An open lawn with a few trees. Moderate. Most yards here. Heavy. A wooded lot after a hard fall. Spring is priced one band lighter than fall on the same lawn, because winter leftovers are less than a fall drop.
04
Mulch & Bed Refresh
Mulch at 2.5 inches, our standard refresh depth. We ask two questions before pricing: does the old mulch need to come out, and does the bed need regrading? Both are priced below, so the number you see is the number you pay.
I’ll supply the mulch
| Your beds | Mulch to buy | Refresh | Refresh and remove old mulch | Refresh and regrade | Refresh, remove old mulch and regrade |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 500 sq ft | 4.5 cu yd | $140 | $280 | $185 | $325 |
| 1,000 sq ft | 8.5 cu yd | $225 | $430 | $310 | $515 |
| 1,500 sq ft | 13 cu yd | $315 | $590 | $450 | $720 |
Ridge Trail brings the mulch
| Your beds | Refresh | Refresh and remove old mulch | Refresh and regrade | Refresh, remove old mulch and regrade |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 500 sq ft | $475 | $615 | $520 | $660 |
| 1,000 sq ft | $800 | $1,005 | $885 | $1,090 |
| 1,500 sq ft | $1,160 | $1,435 | $1,295 | $1,565 |
Mulch options
Refresh. Tops up what is there. Remove old mulch. Takes the old layer out first and hauls it off. That is what you want when a bed has built up over several seasons. Regrade. Levels the bed surface before anything goes down, for a bed that has slumped, washed out, or sits against the house wrong.
Who brings the mulch?
Ridge Trail brings the mulch. We buy it, bring it and spread it. The material is in the price you read. I’ll supply the mulch. You have it on site before we arrive and only the labor is charged. Bulk mulch is sold by the cubic yard, so the mulch-to-buy column is the number to give the supplier. It already includes the usual 10% over, so you are not measuring it twice.
Depth
2.5 inches is our standard refresh. Ask for a different depth and the quantity moves with it.
05
Bed Maintenance & Edging
Weeding, touch-up, and clean edges, priced from your bed area.
Bed maintenance
| Your beds | Kept up | Overgrown |
|---|---|---|
| 250 sq ft | $100 | $100 |
| 500 sq ft | $100 | $100 |
| 750 sq ft | $100 | $125 |
| 1,000 sq ft | $100 | $150 |
| 1,500 sq ft | $100 | $200 |
Bed edging
| Bed edging | With a mow visit | Its own trip |
|---|---|---|
| Any bed size | $20 | $100 |
Kept up or overgrown?
Kept up. The bed was weeded in the last few weeks; what is there pulls out by hand. Overgrown. The weeds are established and rooted in: that is restoration rather than upkeep, and it takes about four times as long per square foot.
06
Leaves
Order either on its own, any time of year. Basic clears the lawn; full removal takes the beds too. Where the pile ends up is your choice, and both prices are here.
Basic Leaf Cleanup
| Your lawn | Pile stays with you | Hauled away |
|---|---|---|
| ¼ acre | $105 | $180 |
| ½ acre | $165 | $240 |
| ¾ acre | $225 | $300 |
| 1 acre | $285 | $360 |
| 1½ acres | $405 | $480 |
| 2 acres | $525 | $600 |
| 2½ acres | $645 | $720 |
Full Leaf Removal, includes beds
| Your lawn | Pile stays with you | Hauled away |
|---|---|---|
| ¼ acre | $185 | $260 |
| ½ acre | $330 | $405 |
| ¾ acre | $480 | $555 |
| 1 acre | $625 | $700 |
| 1½ acres | $915 | $990 |
| 2 acres | $1,205 | $1,280 |
| 2½ acres | $1,495 | $1,570 |
Where does the pile end up?
Pile stays with you. Piled where you want it, or blown into the treeline. That is what most wooded lots here do, and it costs nothing. Hauled away. That column's price includes hauling. How many loads a lawn fills comes from its size and its leaf cover, not from a guess. What hauling costs →
07

Who brings the burlap?
Ridge Trail brings the burlap. We buy it, bring it and wrap the shrubs. The material is in the price you read. I’ll supply the burlap. Buy it by the roll: 3 ft × 50 ft, one roll to about 5 shrubs, rounded up to whole rolls. The burlap-to-buy column beside each shrub count is your order.
Who brings the topsoil and seed?
Ridge Trail brings the topsoil and seed. We buy it, bring it, fill the ruts and seed them. The material is in the price you read. I’ll supply the topsoil and seed. Topsoil to fill the rut and grass seed for the patch. The counts are whole bags of 0.5 cu ft topsoil, rounded up, with the fill's settling already allowed for. The topsoil-and-seed-to-buy column beside each length is your order.

Grey or pink?
Grey snow mold. Rakes out, and grey is what a Spring Refresh includes. Pink snow mold. Kills the turf and is a two-visit job with reseeding: a Landscaping service on its own, never inside a bundle. Enter your address and the calculator prices it from your lawn.
Storm debris
Branches already on the ground. We don’t take down trees. That is an arborist’s job, and we will say so rather than improvise with yours.
Hauling
In the prices above. Up to 2 barrows ride along with whatever else is on the truck at no haul charge; above that the load leaves as its own. What hauling costs →

Grass Clippings
Added to any mow. Leaving clippings on the lawn is free and feeds it. That is our recommendation.
| Your lawn | Collect and pile | Collect and bag | Bag and take away |
|---|---|---|---|
| ¼ acre | Free | $17 | $52 |
| ½ acre | Free | $33 | $68 |
| ¾ acre | Free | $49 | $84 |
| 1 acre | Free | $65 | $100 |
| 1½ acres | Free | $98 | $133 |
| 2 acres | Free | $125 | $160 |
| 2½ acres | Free | $158 | $193 |
What happens to the clippings?
Leave them on the lawn. Free, and it feeds the lawn. That is our recommendation. Collect and pile. Free as well. Puts them where you want them on your property. Collect and bag. Leaves the bags with you. Bag and take away. The load goes home with us: loaded, driven off and unloaded there. That column is the published price, not a quote.
